Centrifugal fan maintenance regulations

Centrifugal fan is mainly composed of: impeller, shell, coupling, shaft, motor and other major components assembled.

The main function of the impeller is to produce wind pressure and air volume;

The shell is mainly used to introduce gas and discharge gas, while changing part of the kinetic energy of gas into pressure energy;

The coupling is used to connect the motor and the fan to transfer the torque;

The shaft mounts and secures the impeller through a coupling with the motor. The motor mainly converts electrical energy into kinetic energy to drive the operation of the fan.

Each component of the fan is closely related.

Therefore, the daily maintenance of centrifugal fans is crucial.

In daily use, some routine checks need to be done before each startup.

Mainly check whether the inlet and outlet of the centrifugal fan are blocked, whether the impeller is deformed, and whether the line is damaged.

But after 2,000 hours of operation of the centrifugal fan, we should have a major inspection.

1, clean the surface dust.

2. Check and clean bearings.

3. Check and tighten all bolts.

4. Check the inlet and outlet.

5. Check and adjust coupling clearance and coaxiality.

6. Check and adjust the tightness of the triangle belt.

7, check the lubrication parts, replace the lubricating oil and sealing ring.

But with the centrifugal fan in operation for 8,000 hours, we should have a major overhaul.

In addition to the work of the major inspection, we also need to carry out some technical testing and maintenance of the centrifugal fan.

For example:

1. Disassemble, clean and check all parts.

2. Repair the bearing and replace the rolling bearing.

3. Check, repair or replace the impeller.

4. Check the static balance and dynamic balance of the impeller.

5, check, repair or replace the spindle.

6, fan painting, repair foundation, correction level, shock absorber function is good.

7, the non-metal shell should have no cracks, the joint surface is flat, and the seal is good.

The metal casing should be solidly welded without cracking and aging.

The inner surface is flat and smooth, without bumps or depressions.

8, the weld of the impeller repair welding should be inspected by magnifying glass or surface non-destructive testing method, without cracks and surface pores.

The riveted impeller nail head is not distorted or loose, and the blade is not deformed.

Leaf wear up to half of the original thickness should be replaced.

10. Bearing

Roller surface and inner and outer cushions without wear.

The rolling bearing assembly must fit snugly on the shoulder of the shaft.

11, check the lubrication system should meet the requirements.

12, turn on the power supply, check the voltage value should be normal.
